കൊച്ചി: ജര്‍മനിയില്‍ നടന്ന രാജ്യാന്തര കലനറി ഒളിംപിക്സില്‍ മലയാളി വിദ്യാര്‍ഥിനിക്ക് സ്വര്‍ണ മെഡല്‍ ലഭിച്ചു. എറണാകുളം സ്വദേശിനിയും ചെനൈ്നസ് അമൃത ഇന്‍റര്‍നാഷണല്‍ കോളെജ് വിദ്യാര്‍ഥിനിയുമായ ശ്രേയ അനീഷിനാണ് സ്വര്‍ണ മെഡല്‍ ലഭിച്ചത്. യുഎഇ യില്‍ നടന്ന ദി എമിറേറ്റ്സ് സലൂണ്‍ കള്‍നെയ്ര്‍ മത്സരത്തില്‍ എറണാകുളം സ്വദേശിനിയും ചെനൈ്നസ് അമൃതയില്‍ വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥിനിയുമായ അമൃത പി സദന്‍ സ്വര്‍ണമെഡല്‍ നേടി. യുഎഇ യില്‍ നടന്ന ദി എമിറേറ്റ്സ് സലൂണ്‍ കള്‍നെയ്ര്‍, മലേഷ്യ ബാറ്റില്‍ ഓഫ് ദി ഷെഫ്സ് എന്നീ മത്സരങ്ങളിലും ഇരുവരും സ്വര്‍ണമെഡല്‍ നേടിയിരുന്നു.

ഇന്‍റര്‍നാഷണല്‍ കലനറി ആര്‍ട്ട് എക്സിബിഷന്‍ (ഐ കെ എ )ഒളിമ്പിക്സിന്‍റെ 124 വര്‍ഷ ചരിത്രത്തില്‍ ആദ്യമായാണ് ഇന്ത്യക്ക് സ്വര്‍ണമെഡല്‍ നേട്ടം ലഭിക്കുന്നത്. 22 രാജ്യങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള പ്രൊഫഷണലുകള്‍ മത്സരിച്ച ഈ വര്‍ഷത്തെ രാജ്യാന്തര മത്സരങ്ങളില്‍ മൂന്ന് സ്വര്‍ണം, ആറ് വെള്ളി, ഒരു വെങ്കലം ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ പത്ത് മെഡലുകളാണ് ചെനൈ്നസ് അമൃത സ്വന്തമാക്കിയത്. ലൈവ് കാര്‍വിങ്ങില്‍ ശ്രേയ അനീഷ് ഗോള്‍ഡ്, സില്‍വര്‍ മെഡലുകളും ഫ്രൂട്ട്സ് ആന്‍ഡ് വെജിറ്റബിള്‍ ഡിസ്പ്ളേ കാര്‍വിംഗില്‍ സില്‍വര്‍ മെഡലും നേടി.

ഒളിമ്പിക്സിന് പിന്നാലെ കഴിഞ്ഞമാസം ഷാര്‍ജയില്‍ നടന്ന എക്സ്പോ കള്‍നെയ്ര്‍ഇരുപത്തിയേഴാമത് എഡിഷനിലും ചെനൈ്നസ് അമൃത വിദ്യാര്‍ഥികള്‍ മികച്ച പ്രകടനം കാഴ്ചവച്ചു. യുഎഇ അടക്കമുള്ള വിദേശരാജ്യങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നെത്തിയ 911 ഷെഫുമാരുമായി മത്സരിച്ചാണ് ഇവര്‍ സുവര്‍ണ നേട്ടം കൊയ്തത്. വേള്‍ഡ് അസോസിയേഷന്‍ ഓഫ് ഷെഫ്സ് സൊസൈറ്റിസ് സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ആഫ്രിക്ക, മിഡില്‍ ഈസ്ററ് മേഖലയിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ കലനറി മത്സരമാണിത്. വേള്‍ഡ് ഷെഫ്സ് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച മലേഷ്യ ബാറ്റില്‍ ഓഫ് ദി ഷെഫ്സ് ~2024 മത്സരത്തിലും ശ്രേയ അനീഷ് വെങ്കല മെഡല്‍ നേടി. 65 കാറ്റഗറിയിലായി 1200 പ്രാദേശിക, രാജ്യാന്തര ഷെഫുമാരോട് മത്സരിച്ചാണ് ശ്രേയ നേട്ടം കരസ്ഥമാക്കിയത്.
